Personal Best® Full Range Peak Flow Meter by Respironics, measures the peak speed at which you expel air from your lungs (the peak expiratory flow or PEF), and is an essential tool in gauging how well your airways are working. The higher the PEF, the more open your airways. The lower the PEF, the more narrow your airways (as in asthma). Using the Personal Best peak flow meter can help you identify triggers, detect subtle changes, and alert you to asthma flare-ups before they occur. It’s large, easy-to read scale, oval mouthpiece, cover that converts to a handle, and built-in color-coded zone system all work to help you manage your asthma. Replace every 2 years.

The Personal Best meets or exceeds NAEPP (National Asthma Education and Prevention Program) standards for accuracy, based on ATS (American Thoracic Society) guidelines. The integrated zone management system is NAEPP endorsed.
